Terms of service

Effective October 1, 2026. By creating a company in Jobsite you agree to these terms on behalf of that company.

1. The service

Jobsite is a photo documentation tool for contractors: capture, filing, tagging, annotation, daily logs, reports and share links. Illuminant Inc. ("we") provides it as described on this site and in the app.

2. Your content

Photos, videos, notes, reports and customer details you add are yours. You give us the limited rights needed to store, process and display them to you, your team and the people you share with. We do not sell them or train models on them.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Accounts and teams

The person who creates a company is its owner. Owners and admins can invite, change and remove members and manage the subscription. Members act for the company.

5. Subscriptions

Plans are billed by Apple through the App Store under Apple's terms, renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple ID settings, and include a 14-day free trial for new companies. When a subscription lapses, Jobsite becomes read-only after a 16-day grace period; captures keep queuing on phones and exports stay available. Refunds are handled by Apple.

6. What we do not promise

Jobsite documents work: it records when and where photos were taken and keeps originals unaltered with a verification hash. We make no representation that any record will be accepted as evidence by an insurer, court, inspector or anyone else. Jobsite is not legal advice. The optional AI draft is a writing aid; you review and approve all text before sending.

7. Availability and data

We aim for continuous service but do not guarantee it. If the service is unavailable, captures continue on the phone and upload later. We keep encrypted backups for 30 days and follow the retention rules. Export your data any time.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for Jobsite in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or claims denied by third parties.

9. Termination

You can delete your company at any time (30-day grace, then permanent). We may suspend accounts that break these terms, with notice where practical, and will offer an export where lawful.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Contact: support@illuminantinc.com.
